Hello, my name is Jacqueline Zamora and I am and artist / illustrator. My art is mostly inspired by nature and I enjoy drawing animals. I have a lot of fun observing them and drawing what I imagine they could possibly be thinking in the moment.

I did not major in art but I have learned a lot on my own and from art books and a few classes I could find online. I am most comfortable working traditionally with pens and pencils and so this even reflects in my digital art drawing style. 

Fun fact: when I was much younger, I would pause a few of my favorite animated movies and draw the scenes and even copy the VHS cover illustrations. These were my first “art classes”.

Lately I have been inspired to learn new techniques to keep improving. I’ll just have to make more space for all the new art books I’ll be acquiring.
